OG Network – Privacy Policy

OG Network (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an Australian registered company operating from South Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when players use the OG Network Minecraft server and related services.

By connecting to or playing on OG Network, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only information necessary to operate, moderate, and secure the server. This may include:

  • Minecraft usernames and UUIDs
  • Skin data
  • Chat logs
  • Player-created builds and world data
  • Minecraft client version information

This information is collected automatically through normal gameplay and server operation.

2. Purpose of Collection

We use this information solely for legitimate operational purposes, including:
  • Operating and maintaining the server
  • Moderation and enforcement of server rules
  • Preventing cheating, abuse, and ban evasion
  • Investigating reports or disputes
  • Ensuring server security and stability

We do not use player data for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

OG Network does not collect or store:
  • Payment card or billing details
  • Financial information
  • Store transaction or purchase data

All store purchases and payment processing are handled by Tebex, which operates independently under its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

4. Data Sharing & Access

OG Network does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Access to player data is restricted to authorised OG Network staff where reasonably required for moderation, security, or operational purposes.

Third-party service providers (such as hosting providers) may have limited access to data only where necessary to provide their services.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal information on the basis of our legitimate interests, including server operation, moderation, security, and abuse prevention.

6. Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.

While no system can be guaranteed completely secure, access to data is restricted and safeguards are in place to minimise risk.

Players may request deletion of their personal information. OG Network may retain certain information where reasonably necessary for:

Retained information may include usernames, UUIDs, IP addresses, chat logs, and moderation records.

  • Correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion of information where it is no longer required

Requests will be assessed in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our operational obligations.

9. Children’s Privacy

OG Network is a general-audience service and is not specifically directed at children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information beyond what is required for normal server operation. This includes technical and gameplay-related data such as usernames, IP addresses, chat logs, and moderation records.

If a parent or legal guardian believes a minor has provided personal information beyond what is necessary, they may contact us to request review or removal, subject to our legal and operational obligations.

10. International Players

OG Network allows players from all jurisdictions to connect.

We operate under Australian law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). By using OG Network, international players consent to their personal information being collected, stored, and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Where applicable, we will make reasonable efforts to respect privacy rights under other data protection laws (such as UK GDPR or EU GDPR), provided they do not conflict with our legal, operational, or security obligations.
