What happened this week?Welcome back to OGN Weekly! This week we had a huge SMP update, Hard and Nightmare Dungeons finally got defeated and an interview with WhisperFire.

Notable Moments from this WeekSMP 3.2 Update
SMP got a notable update! Added KOTH, Petals became global and the version got upgraded to 1.21.8. With that upgrade the world border of the Overworld is now 10k bigger and The Nether - 5k. Some unrelated issues stalled the update, but they got quickly resolved in time.
OGN Discord Scam Server
A scam discord server has been created with the intentions of mimicking OG-Network in order to steal personal information from users by making them verify their account with a fake verification system that compromises their Microsoft accounts.
Please keep yourselves safe and always double check anything that seems suspicious.
Hard and Nightmare Dungeons Defeated
At long last the Hard Dungeon bounty has been claimed by YaBoyNotTrippin and PeanutBvtter. They have been rewarded with $100, X God Sword, 255 God Sword and a custom Bounty Hunter tag, personalised for both of them. The X God Sword is shared between the two players and the 255 God Sword is displayed in /pw museum in RPG-SMP.
Shortly after the Hard Dungeon defeat, Nightmare Dungeon has been defeated aswell by YaBoyNotTrippin, Lxry, Xellos06, Doge198_ and Hallow_Moons!

🛠 Notable Content Updates
- SMP 3.2 Update – Fight Club:
• Brand new event: KOTH! Players can fight against friends and foes to become the king of the hill and earn a KOTH Crate Key with awesome rewards!
• Daily Quests allows players to do different vanilla gameplay features to earn money.
• Petals have become global across our gamemodes.
• SMP is now on 1.21.8.
• World Border Expansion - Overworld by 10k and Nether by 5k
• Added Money Boosters. They give a global boost on the Admin Shop sell price. - Minor RPG-SMP changes:
• Performance Improvements
• Only mobs spawned from spawners stack once again
• Stacked entities & items get culled every 30 minutes
• Disabled Insomnia (natural Phantom spawning)
• Temporarily disabled Glide

An interview with WhisperFire26
1. How did you find OGN?
I was randomly browsing YouTube and found a video by TheMisterEpic. It was titled, "What It's Like to Own a Minecraft Server" and I subbed to him. I then saw two additional videos by him titled, "Pay-to-Win Minecraft Servers - The TRUTH" and "3 Civilizations | 2000 Players – A Minecraft WAR Experiment". All three videos advertised the server so I first logged in on October 2024. I explored the different game modes and was inspired to do a server review video. Things evolved from there.
2. What gamemode do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy the PVE game play of RPG SMP. I acknowledge that I have a massive skill issue with PVP and if one of my builds is griefed, I tend to take it personally. So I plan to stay on the RPG SMP server.
3. What made you want to make videos on OGN?
I like sharing and showing off. A major benefit of making content on a public server is giving everyone an opportunity to visit my builds, explore, and benefit from my projects. I believe that Minecraft itself is best when shared with people. I enjoy the idea of having people visit my base to use what I offer freely. I was gonna make Minecraft videos anyway, so why not share?
4. Do you have any future projects on OGN?
Right now I am working on a video about map art, including a promising timelapse using the Replay Mod. I recently discovered what a joy it is to make map art and sharing it. I have no idea what to do after that, but I am still on the look out for future ideas.
