We’re excited to unveil RPG-SMP 2.1 – Glide & Design Update!
This patch brings brand-new features, quality-of-life improvements, and balance changes inspired by your feedback. Let’s dive in!

Major Changes​

Temp Fly
Fly freely in the Overworld using `/fly` – but watch the timer!
Earn Fly Time through LootBoxes, PetalShop, and Crates.

Player Holograms
Create custom holograms to decorate your base in style!
Customization options include:

• Multiple Lines
• Billboard States (Vertical, Horizontal, Static)
• Size Modifier

Virtual Shulkers
Access shulker contents without placing them!

• Faerie – View only
• Blossom – View & edit

Astral Rune & Jewel
A rare new Rune & Jewel containing the strongest enchants in the game!
Currently drops in Dungeons alongside Omni Runes – with a plan to change this in the future.

Crown Jewel LootBox
Available until September 30th, 2025! Contains new runes, jewels, money, XP, and more.
Purchase a 5x or 10x bundle to get a bonus Coup De Grace Rune!

Nightmare Dungeon Drop Rate Changes
We’ve adjusted rune & jewel drop rates for Nightmare:

• Omni Rune & Jewel – 2%
• Astral Rune & Jewel - 1%

Minor Changes​

• /togglepassive – Toggle passive class abilities
• 🛠 Fixed inaccurate `/help` info
• Fixed cross-dungeon agro & effects
• Increased AFK Room region size
• Golden Apple cooldown → 15s
• Enchanted Golden Apple cooldown → 30s
• 🛡 Totem of Undying price → $250,000
• Added Armor Trims to Shop
• Added Light Blocks to Shop (place block over to “break” – no drops)
• Added Pitcher Plant & Torch Flower to Shop
• Added Sculk Catalyst to Shop
• Added Sell Wands to PetalShop
• Added Chat Games
• Added Turbo Hoppers:

• Hopper 3000 – 4 items/transfer
• Hopper 4000 – 8 items/transfer
• Hopper 6000 – 16 items/transfer (vanilla = 1)

• `/namecolor` added
• 🖌 Chat Colors category now includes Name Colors
• Celestial Hex – Name Colors added
• Celestial – Rainbow Glow effect added
• 🏷 Added 22 Chat Tags
• Added 8 Statuses
• Added 12 Join & Quit Messages

Final Note​

We’re steering RPG-SMP towards a more RPG-focused experience while keeping it simple & fun.
The next major update will:
• Rebalance Dungeons
• Introduce a new dimension
• Overhaul the Class system for deeper RPG mechanics

Please increase the duration of signature abilities and reduce the cool downs.... I was very disappointed that the difference in these values from level 4 to level 5 was a mere 2 seconds difference. For the price I paid for that update, I personally feel ripped off.
